What systems support the powertrain in driving well?

2.0-L Boxer DOHC Direct-Injection 4-cylinder across models with 152-hp and 145 lb-ft of torque. There is a triple set of possible transmissions, depending on the model choice. Standard for the 2.0i and 2.0i Sport models is a 5-speed manual. A Lineartronic CVT (continuously variable transmission) with steering wheel paddle shifters uses a 7-speed manual mode setup excellently on the 2.0i Premium, Sport, and Limited models. This same Lineartronic CVT is in the base model but instead of the 7-modes, it has a capable Low shift mode. The 2.0i Sport also includes Active Torque Vectoring, which can independently brake the inside front wheel, which reduces understeer. Subaru capitalized on a lower center of gravity on the 2018 Impreza and revised its suspension systems in order to augment its deftness on the road. An incredibly-designed symmetrical AWD system also keeps things on track in inclement weather as standard.

What are the general features of the Impreza?

The sedan version has 12.3 cubic feet of trunk capacity, while the 5-door version has 55.3 cubic feet (rear seats down). The 2018 Impreza has a turning circle of 35.4-feet. Standard features will include a 3-spoke steering wheel with audio and Bluetooth controls, a Remote keyless entry system, 60/40 split fold-down rear seatback, full power accessories, and Vehicle Dynamics Control (VDC), among many other great features. On the Premium models, buyers will find items such as body-color exterior mirrors, an Illuminated ignition switch ring, a rear suspension stabilizer bar, and a sound insulation windshield. On the Sport version, there are 18-in. alloy wheels, sport-focused gauges, a dash panel with red stitching, a body-color spoiler, and an optional moonroof. The Limited amenities include items like 17" alloy wheels, a leather-wrapped steering wheel with silver stitching, the STARLINK 8.0" Multimedia Plus system, and an option for a power moonroof!

Any safety features to note in the 2018 Impreza?

The optional Eyesight system keeps your driving world in check via dual color cameras and a host of assistive functions. These functions are Lane Keep Assist & Sway Warning, Adaptive Cruise Control, Pre-Collision Braking, and Pre-Collision Throttle Management. Also an option, Blind-Spot Detection and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert functions appear independently of the Eyesight system for the 2.0i Premium, 2.0i Sport, and 2.0i Limited models. A rearview camera is standard on all models, and Reverse Automatic Braking is purchasable on the 2.0i Limited model. Additionally, Steering Responsive Headlights comes standard on the 2.0i Limited, while High Beam Assist is an option on that same model. Piling on top of those features is the remarkable, mobile-friendly, and proven STARLINK Safety and Security feature, which incorporates Automatic Collision Notification, Stolen Vehicle Recovery, Enhanced Roadside Assistance, and Remote Services.
